Now the reason i began replacing regularly my saved game files is because i'm so damned tired of every time i play with the Reign of Giants DLC (which i find pretty damn f*******g awsome) and find a ridiculously good game with everything i'll need to theoreticly survive forever and have a kickass game with the default settings, of which in my last game were the Pig king + Glommer statue + buffalo biome + Maxwells door BTW, i lose because of one careless move and have to start numerous more games to discover another game that's remotly as good. One of the things that has always bugged me ever since i bought the game through steam is that i can no longer simply click on the desktop shortcut to play Don't Starve, i first have to log into Steam just to be able to log in.īut this isn't the reason i've came to complain and ask for help, i've recently discovered that there is some sort of "system" that steam uses to make a copy of my saved game files on Steam Cloud or whatever it is called and rewrites my saved games every time i come back online on steam or replaced the saved game files with previous games.
